Geology and mining records 1925-1939.

Series documents the research and recommendations of the Planning Board concerning geology and mining. Records include correspondence, minutes, reports, surveys, questionnaires, and programs. Topics include the creation of a State Bureau of Mining and Geology, status of individual mines, and locations of deposits of lime and chromium. Most of the records date from 1934 to 1939, however, some legislation predates 1934.
